This vegan chocolate bark is rich, crunchy, salty and sweet. Just 3 ingredients and 15 minutes to the best vegan bark ever!
You know the coolest thing about making your own vegan desserts is you don’t have to worry about what’s available in the shops (as long as you can get ingredients of course).
One thing that was bothering me was the shortage of vegan chocolates in the stores.
Well – put it this way – there’s barely any around these parts.
It’s mostly just the ‘accidentally vegan’ dark chocolate around. But what if you want fruit and nut? What if you want a nice vegan crunch bar? What then?
Well – what then is you make it yourself. So rather than keep lamenting the fact that plain dark chocolate is all I can buy, I made this heavenly fruit and nut vegan chocolate bark.
And guess what? Just 3-Ingredients. Woohoo, now that’s what I’m talking about! We went with mixed salted nuts and raisins and the mix of salty from the salty nuts with the sweetness of the chocolate and raisins is heavenly.
Let me just say – the end result is RICH. You end up only needing to have a really small piece. And I’m not usually a person who says things like that, so you must know, really rich.
You will LOVE this gorgeous vegan chocolate bark, it’s rich, crunchy, salty and sweet, just 3 ingredients and only takes 15 minutes to prepare. Get ready to be blown away by sheer deliciousness.

- Break it into pieces and enjoy!
Recipe Notes & Tips
Vegan Chocolate: You can use any high quality vegan chocolate bars (broken up before melting) or vegan chocolate chips. Make sure it’s good tasting and melts down well. Generally in order to melt down well cocoa butter should be prominently listed in the ingredients.
Roasted, Salted, Mixed Nuts: The roasted, salted nuts contrast so nicely with the sweet chocolate and raisins in this recipe. Use any type of nuts you like, or any mix of them. If you don’t like to combine salty and sweet flavors then you can use plain unsalted nuts.
Raisins: The raisins should be seedless for this recipe. Alternatively you could use dried cranberries or any other dried fruit.
Storing: Keep your bark stored in the fridge in a covered container for 2 weeks. You can also store it at room temperature, if the weather is cool. It can tend to get fairly soft at room temperature though so keeping it in the fridge is best.

Can you recommend a vegan chocolate that is not dark? Thank you
Alison Andrews says
It really differs from country to country what is available, but you get dark chocolate that is 50% or so cacao that isn’t bitter at all.

Never heard of vegan chocolate. Is it at health food shops
Alison Andrews says
Hi Kim! A lot of dark chocolate is already vegan, though it may not specifically say so. You just read the ingredients list. In this recipe I used Lindt dark chocolate. A few of their dark chocolate varieties are vegan. And of course you can buy Lindt at a regular supermarket. There are lots of other brands of dark chocolate that are also vegan, it’s just a case of reading the ingredients list. 🙂
