Still, the texture was nice and chewy inside, and crispy outside. Leaving the dough shaggy was key (if you don’t know what that means, look up a video – it is crucial to not overmix the dough). I did jalapenos, vegan cheddar, and olives on top – next time I’ll do a classic rosemary and sea salt. I can’t wait to see how it turn out when it rises correctly!5 stars

Sure you can Macy. Your focaccia will just take a bit longer to rise than when using instant yeast.
